RAMSES Auxiliary Library

A collection of library modules useful for programing, modeling, simulation, and scientific data analysis

What Is the RAMSES Auxiliary Library?

The RAMSES Auxiliary Library, nick named AuxLib, is a collection of Modula-2 library modules useful for programing, modeling, simulation, and scientific data analysis. Among many other things it features a matrices package, supports the management of events in the context of dynamic system simulation, or offers optimization and statistical routines.

To learn about the formal interface, notably all functions of the AuxLib see:

Availability

The AuxLib is freeware (courtesy ETH Zurich).

It comes as a part of the RAMSES modeling and simulation environment.

Download it for:

  • Mac Classic   (part of the RAMSES package)
  • Windows   (part of the Dialog Machine, ModelWorks and Auxiliary Library for Windows package, selected modules only)
  • Mac OS X   (part of the RASS-OSX package; selected modules only)

An extra part of the AuxLib is available only as part of the RAMSES Extras package. It contains less frequently used modules.

For information on the needed Modula-2 development environments for the various supported computer platforms see here.
